WUFI® Pro and WUFI® 2D hygrothermal simulation for building envelope moisture and thermal performanc

WUFI® Pro & WUFI® 2D Simulation

 

WUFI® Pro (1D) evaluates heat and moisture transport through typical wall, roof, and floor assemblies, helping assess their long-term hygrothermal performance.

WUFI® 2D extends the analysis to complex two-dimensional details—such as corners, junctions, transitions, and thermal bridges—where geometry influences heat and moisture behavior.

Moisture, Condensation & Mold Risk Assessment

 Assessment of moisture accumulation, condensation risk, drying potential, and mold-growth risk under project-specific, real-world weather conditions. Hygrothermal simulations incorporate climate data representative of the project location, with hygrothermal risk evaluated using ASHRAE Standard 160 criteria to support durable and moisture-resilient building enclosures. 

Thermal Performance & Thermal Bridging

 Evaluation of building enclosure thermal performance through R-value and U-factor calculations, with analysis of thermal bridges at critical details and transitions to identify heat-loss paths and support energy-efficient, high-performing enclosure design.
